CSU-Kochi University, Japan MOA forged
The Kochi University, Japan signed its Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) through its representative, Dr. Satoshi Kubota, with the Catanduanes State University (CSU) represented by its Dr. Minerva I. Morales, SUC President III on June 3, 2019 in fitting rites held at the CSU Conference Room, Virac, Catanduanes.
Present during the MOA signing were key University officials in the teaching and non-teaching department. The affair stamped the collaborative tie-up of the two institutions in terms of exchange of faculty, students, researchers and other administrative staff, information materials and other academic cooperation necessary to support internationalization initiatives.
It can be recalled that Dr. Kubota made a prior visit to the University in an orientation he conducted last February 21, 2019 during the formal staging of the partnership. The event was facilitated by the Research and Production Affairs Office led by Dr. Lily P. Custodio, VP-REPA and Research and Development Services Director, Dr. Jimmy T. Masagca.
